Religion AB/Nonprofit Management and Leadership MA(non-thesis) Become a leader in the nonprofit sector This Double Dawgs pathway provides a clear step for students majoring in Religion to pursue opportunities as leaders in the large and growing nonprofit sector, including with faith-based organizations. Complete both degrees in five years: Apply for admission to the Double Dawgs pathway by March 15 of your sophomore year. Take a few graduate-level Religion and Nonprofit courses during your junior and senior year. Take the remaining graduate-level Nonprofit courses during your fifth year, and complete an intensive, supervised internship in one or two selected organizations. About the Nonprofit Management and Leadership (NML) program in the School of Social Work: The nonprofit sector is enormous. Our program provides knowledge that is scalable from small to large organizations and applies to a wide spectrum of interests and areas, including but not limited to community services, social welfare, environmental advocacy, faith-based charity, sports and recreation, education and the arts. Complete both degrees in five years: Apply for admission to the Double Dawgs pathway in the Fall semester of your junior year. Take a few graduate-level Public Administration courses during your junior or senior year. Take the remaining graduate-level Public Administration courses during your fifth year, complete an intensive public service internship in a selected agency, and assemble a capstone portfolio. Complete both degrees in five years: Apply for admission to the Double Dawgs pathway during your junior year. Take a few graduate-level Religion courses during your senior year. Take the remaining graduate-level Religion courses during your fifth year, and write a thesis on a Religion research topic of particular interest to you.
