Meg Rooney

PhD Student
Meg Rooney is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Religion at the University of Georgia, whose focus is theologically engaged anthropology, women's studies, rhetorical studies, and leadership studies. Meg is interested in U.S. Protestant denominations, liturgical theology, and religious ritualization. Meg also serves the Department of Religion and UGA Well-Being Resources as the Spiritual Well-Being Graduate Assistant, creating opportunities for student purpose, meaning-making, and connection through the exploration of spirituality on UGA's campus.
