Benjamin Starr

PhD Candidate

Benjamin Starr is a PhD candidate in the Religion Department at the University of Georgia, focusing on the Hebrew Bible. He is currently exploring the social contexts of prophecy in the Hebrew Bible, with special comparison to other methods of divination in the ancient Near East.

In Fall 2023, he will be teaching RELI 1007 - Reading the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible (CRN 57130).
